A directory, not a sales team

  • It will not fill your program on its own

    A listing is one of five recruiting channels and rarely the strongest. Programs that do well here are already doing the other four.

  • We do not promise applicants

    Referly publishes no expected volume or quality figure, because the honest answer depends entirely on your offer, your category and your listing.

  • Ranking is not for sale

    Listings are ordered by a quality score built from proven performance, earning potential, completeness, traction and demand. There is no paid placement tier.

  • You still do the screening

    Applicants arrive through your normal signup, questions and approval flow. Turning the listing on does not lower your bar for who gets in.

This, or Influencer Discovery?

This is inbound: affiliates browse the directory and apply to you. Influencer Discovery is outbound: you browse affiliates who already earn on other Referly programs and invite them. One is a listing with a licence, the other is a $199 a month add-on. Programs that use both use them for different things.

Affiliates who join through the directory carry the marketplace as their source for as long as they exist. Group by source in the acquisition report, compare against what the licence cost you over the same period, and decide with the figure in front of you.

  • No. The listing needs its own licence, billed separately. Business and Enterprise plans include a number of free days, and agency plans include a number of free licences to spend across client programs, but no brand plan includes the licence itself.

  • The listing unpublishes unless a licence is active. Nothing is deleted. The listing, its copy and its stats stay where they are and republishing is a matter of activating the licence again.

  • We will not give you a number, because any number we gave you would be made up. It depends on your commission rate, your category, how complete your listing is and how well your program converts applicants once they arrive.

  • No. Ordering comes from a quality score built from proven performance, earning potential, listing completeness, traction and demand. The most effective thing you can do about your position is write a complete listing and run a program that pays.

  • No. Applicants go through your normal signup form, your application questions and your approval flow. If you auto-approve today the listing will auto-approve too, which is worth reviewing before you publish.

  • This is inbound and that is outbound. Here, affiliates find you in a public directory and apply. There, you browse affiliates who already earn on other Referly programs and invite them directly. Different mechanism, different pricing, different job.

  • Yes, with a licence for each. That is why agency plans include a number of free licences rather than free days: an agency running client programs needs several listings rather than one long trial.

  • Directory pages are governed by an indexability setting rather than being indexed automatically. Treat the listing as a place affiliates browsing Referly will find you, not as an SEO play.
