Do I need an API key?

No. Your assistant opens a Referly sign-in the first time it connects. You choose which program it can see, and you can revoke the connection from Referly at any time.

Can Claude send payouts without me?

No. Payout tools stop at a prepared batch and hand you a link into Referly, where the money is actually sent. Nothing leaves your account from a chat.

Which assistants work?

Chat apps (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity), agents that work on their own (Claude Cowork, Dots, Grok Bot, Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, NanoClaw, Manus, Cue, Muse, Paperclip, Buzz), terminals (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Grok Build, Kimi Code, DeepSeek) and editors (Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, JetBrains) each have a setup page. Any other MCP client that speaks Streamable HTTP can add the URL.

No. The MCP server is included on every plan, including lifetime accounts.

What can it change, and what does it only read?

Reads run on their own. Writes that delete, approve in bulk or create money return a preview first and run only when you confirm. Claude and ChatGPT add their own approval step on top.

Where does my affiliates' data go?

To the assistant you connected, under that vendor's terms. Referly returns only what the tool call asks for, never API keys, tokens or payout credentials. Pick the plan and data settings you trust on the assistant's side.

Can my team use it, or only me?

Everyone signs in with their own Referly account and sees exactly the programs they see in the dashboard. A teammate cannot reach a program through the assistant that they could not open in Referly.

What about Referly Atlas?

Atlas has a second server at https://mcp.referly.so/atlas. Add it the same way and ask about spend, ROAS, pixel health and destinations.
