Imports
ProcessingCompletedReferly imports directly from Trackdesk. Generate a personal token under Settings, Integrations, take your tenant ID from the identifiers panel, and run the importer: affiliates arrive with their codes, rates and join dates. Offers and commission structures are rebuilt by hand. Migration is free on every plan.
Migration help
Direct import or CSV, Startup or Enterprise, moving your program costs nothing and we will help you plan it. Bring your export, the list of offers you need rebuilt and a cutover date.
Stated once and without embellishment, because it is the reason this page exists: Trackdesk includes migration and implementation assistance from its Business plan, which is $329 a month. That is their published position, not a characterisation of it.
Before you start
Trackdesk is network-shaped, so it carries more configuration than the SaaS-first tools and more of it is rebuilt.
Affiliates and their details
Names, emails, payout emails, countries and status, over the API.
Referral links and codes
The code survives the move; the domain it points at changes.
Per-affiliate commission rates
Arrive as per-affiliate overrides rather than collapsing to one program rate.
Conversions and commissions
With original dates and paid status intact, so the migration cannot double-pay anyone.
Paid payouts
Sales you import can carry their paid status, so nobody is paid twice. The payout records themselves stay behind.
Unpaid commissions
Import them marked unpaid and pay from Referly, or pay them out of Trackdesk first.
Offers
There is no offer object to import into. Rebuilt as commission plans with rule groups, which cover the same ground differently. Trackdesk's Business plan allows ten active offers, so count yours during scoping.
Tracked coupons
The codes import and can be minted on your connected store so they work at checkout. Trackdesk's Business plan tracks up to 100 of them, which is usually the number you are rebuilding.
Postback configuration
Referly supports affiliate-side postbacks with a 42-macro catalogue, but each affiliate configures their own URL in their own portal. The setup is redone rather than migrated.
The historic click log
Not importable from any tool. Click and conversion-rate charts start on cutover day.
Commission structures are rebuilt by hand on every migration, from every tool, including this one. On Trackdesk the offers and the coupon mappings are the bulk of that work, so count both before you pick a cutover date.
Step 1
Two values, in two places, both under Settings. A read-only token is enough for the import, and Trackdesk supports scoping and IP whitelisting on it.
Trackdesk tokens carry scoped permissions and support IP whitelisting. A read-only token is enough for the import.

In Trackdesk
Settings → Integrations → Personal tokens
Copy a personal access token.
Settings → "Your Trackdesk identifiers", top right
Copy your tenant ID, which is also the subdomain the importer calls.
How Referly authenticates
An X-Api-Key header, sent against your own tenant subdomain rather than a shared host.

The importer
Generated from the importer itself, so it is what the product does today rather than what a page once claimed.
1. Affiliates

2. Referrals
First name · Last name · Email · Affiliate email · Join date · External user ID
3. Sales
Customer email · Customer name · Affiliate email · Transaction amount · Transaction date · Commission · Paid status
Affiliates first, then referrals, then sales. The order is enforced, because a referral needs its affiliate and a sale needs both.

Coupons
ShopifyThe code is created on the store itself, not just recorded here, so a customer who types it at checkout gets the discount and the affiliate gets the sale.

Code
The rebuild that takes longest
A code recorded in your tracking tool and a code that works at checkout are different things, and a migration is exactly where that difference surfaces. Referly can create each affiliate's code on the connected store during the import, or pull in codes that already exist there and bind them to the right affiliate. There is no separate ceiling on how many you track.
Automatic coupon generation is on Business and above. Coupon tracking itself is on every plan, including Startup.
Plan your move
Trackdesk meters on program revenue and so does Referly, so the useful comparison is where your own number lands on each ladder rather than the sticker on the front.

The dashed line is your revenue crossing each ladder. At $8,000/mo, Referly bills $75 and Trackdesk bills $329.
Customer stories
The founders and affiliate managers behind three fast-growing programs, in their own words.
“Affiliates drive a serious share of our revenue across three countries. Since we moved to Referly everything runs from one place, tracking has been spot on, and our partners get paid without me chasing spreadsheets.”

“We have been running affiliate programs for over a decade, and ours is one of the biggest parts of how OptimizePress grows. Referly is the first platform where an operation with thousands of partners actually feels manageable, from recruiting new affiliates to tracking every sale they send.”

Map the join-date column and every affiliate arrives with the date they actually signed up. Sales keep their transaction dates, and commissions already paid arrive marked paid, so nobody gets paid twice.
The history question
Map the join-date column and every affiliate arrives with the date they actually signed up rather than with today's. Conversions keep their transaction dates, and commissions already settled arrive marked paid, so the first payout run after the migration does not try to pay them a second time. Tenure, leaderboards and lifetime earnings all still read correctly.
Last step
Export a copy of everything before you press it: affiliates, offers, tracked coupons, conversions and payout history, as CSV, kept somewhere durable. Access usually closes at cancellation.
Cancel from your Trackdesk billing settings once the overlap has finished and both dashboards agree on attributed sales.
If your affiliates are firing postbacks into their own tools, tell them before you switch it off rather than after. A media buyer whose tracker stops receiving conversions assumes the traffic died, and that is an avoidable week of confusion.
