Shopify product collections in commission plans
You can now target Shopify product collections when building commission plan rules. This gives you finer control over which products trigger which commission rates.
Until now, product-level rules meant picking products one by one — workable for a small catalog, painful for a store with hundreds of SKUs, and impossible to keep current as products move in and out of ranges. Collections fix that: target the collection once, and the rule follows whatever Shopify says is in it.

Collection-level filtering shows up in both the standard and V2 commission plan editors. A few ways to use it:
- Set a higher rate for products in a seasonal or promotional collection while the campaign runs.
- Exclude clearance or low-margin collections from earning commissions at all.
- Reward partners differently based on which product line they drive — say, a premium line at one rate and accessories at another.
Because rules reference the collection rather than a frozen product list, updating your catalog in Shopify automatically updates what your commission rules cover. Set it once, and merchandising changes stop silently breaking your payout logic.
