Free tools, templates and guides for your affiliate program

Running an affiliate program comes with homework nobody signed up for. An agreement to write. A commission rate to pick without knowing what anyone else pays. Recruitment emails, onboarding emails, KPI spreadsheets.

We spent the last few weeks building free resources that do that homework for you. Everything below is free, works without an account, and asks for no email address.

Six free tools

The calculators run the same commission and fee code as your Referly dashboard. What they show is what the product computes.

Five templates you can copy in full

An affiliate agreement, public program terms, a three-email recruitment sequence, a five-email onboarding sequence, and four commission structures with the numbers already worked. Read them on the page, copy them in full, no email wall.

Six guides, including an original data study

The guides library covers starting a program, recruiting affiliates, referral programs, program examples worth copying, and the KPIs that matter.

The one we're proudest of: Affiliate Commission Rates, a study of 45 real affiliate programs. The median commission is 26%, a quarter of programs pay under 15%, a quarter pay over 35%. Not a survey, not a guess. The dataset is a free CSV, licensed CC BY, so you can republish it with attribution.

A glossary your affiliates will thank you for

Ten terms, each answered in one sentence first: EPC, cookie windows, last-click attribution, net 30 payouts, recurring commissions and more.

Affiliate software pricing, compared

One page with 15 platforms: entry price, what each one meters on, where the first price cliff lands, and the fee on top. Plus in-depth pricing teardowns of 11 vendors.

And a new explainer video

We just launched our animated explainer. If you've ever wanted to show someone what Referly does without booking a call, this is the link to send:
