> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://www.referly.so/docs/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # Search your dashboard > Use Referly's dashboard search (Cmd+K or Ctrl+K) to find affiliates, customers, transactions, commission plans, coupons, pages, settings and help in seconds, and learn how matching works. Search gets you anywhere in your Referly dashboard from one box. It appears on larger screens and shows the keyboard shortcut next to it. * Press **Cmd+K** on a Mac or **Ctrl+K** on Windows. Press it again to close search. ![Top bar of the dashboard with the Search box and its Cmd+K shortcut hint](https://mintcdn.com/pushlapgrowth/uln-BRCRRh_82xO0/images/help-center/getting-started/global-search-bar.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=uln-BRCRRh_82xO0\&q=85\&s=94e54b62ab848a0a7730fce69e6c333f) Before you type anything, search shows a short **Suggestions** list with shortcuts to **Dashboard**, **Affiliates**, **Customers**, **Rewards**, **Payouts** and **Settings**. ## What you can search for Start typing in the box at the top, which reads "Search pages, settings, affiliates, customers, docs...". Results appear as you type, grouped under a heading for each type: | Results group | What it finds | What happens when you select a result | | - | - | - | | **Affiliates** | Active affiliates in your program, by name or email address. Each result shows their **Referrals**, **Revenue** and commission (**Comm.**). | Opens the [affiliate's detail page](/docs/help-center/manage/affiliates/affiliate-detail.md). | | **Customers** | Referred customers, by name or email address. Each result shows their **Revenue** and **Profit** (revenue minus commission). | Opens your [Customers](/docs/help-center/manage/customers/overview.md) list with that customer's email already in the search box. | | **Transactions** | Sales, by the customer's name or email address. Each result shows the **Amount**, the commission (**Comm.**), whether it's **Paid** or **Unpaid**, the affiliate who referred it and the date. | Opens your [Rewards](/docs/help-center/manage/rewards/overview.md) page with that customer's email already in the search box. | | **Commission Plans** | Your [commission plans](/docs/help-center/getting-started/commissions/overview.md), by plan name. | Opens your **Commission Plans** settings. | | **Coupons** | Your [coupons](/docs/help-center/engage/coupons/overview.md), by coupon name. | Opens your **Coupons** page. | | **Pages** | Every page in the left sidebar, such as **Payouts**, **Leaderboards** or **Marketing Assets**. | Opens that page. | | **Settings** | Every settings screen, plus settings that are hard to find on your own, such as **Cookie Duration**, **Minimum Payout Threshold** and **Payout Frequency**. | Opens the settings screen where that setting lives. | | **Help & Resources** | **Help Center**, **Developer Documentation**, **Video Tutorials**, **What's New**, **Book a Call** and **Free Link Shortener**. | Opens in a new tab. | You don't need to use the exact name of a page or setting. Searches also match common alternative words, so typing "home" finds your **Dashboard** and "receipts" finds your **Invoices**. ## How search matches what you type * **Type at least 2 characters** to search your affiliates, customers, transactions, commission plans and coupons. Pages, settings and help results start appearing from the first character. * **Results come from the program you have open.** To search a different program, switch to it first, then open search again. * **Words can be in any order.** When you type more than one word, each word has to match somewhere, in any order. "Jane Doe" finds an affiliate whose first name is Jane and last name is Doe, and "domain portal" finds the **Custom Domain** setting for your affiliate portal. An email address counts as a single word, so you can paste one in whole. Coupon names are the exception: they match the text exactly as you type it. * **Only the best page and settings matches are shown.** If you don't see the page or setting you want, add another word to narrow it down. > [!TIP] > > Search only finds active affiliates. To find someone who's pending, declined or banned, use the **Search affiliate by name or email** box on your [Affiliates](/docs/help-center/manage/affiliates/overview.md) list instead. ## Move through your results * Use the up and down arrow keys to move through the results, **Enter** to open the highlighted one, and **Esc** to close search. These shortcuts are listed at the bottom of the search window. * Each affiliate, customer and transaction group shows the 5 most recent matches, with the total number of matches in its heading (for example, **Affiliates (12)**). Select **Show more** under a group, which also tells you how many are left, to load the next few. * If nothing matches, search shows "No results found." Check the spelling, or try part of the name or email address instead. > [!NOTE] > > If an agency runs your program, the **Help & Resources** results don't appear.
