Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete data that Referly Technologies, LLC ("Referly") holds about you, including data from Referly Atlas, our ad attribution product, and how to remove the Referly Atlas app from your Facebook account. For full details of what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.

If you connected a Meta (Facebook or Instagram) ad account to Referly Atlas

You can delete the data Referly Atlas holds from your Meta connection in either or both of these ways.

1. Disconnect the ad account in Referly Atlas

1. Sign in to Referly and open Referly Atlas.
2. Go to Ad center → Ad accounts.
3. Open the ⋯ menu next to a Meta ad account and choose Disconnect Meta login to remove every ad account from that Facebook login at once, or Remove ad account to remove one.

This deletes the accounts' campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives, spend, and audience breakdown data from Referly Atlas, and deletes the access token once no connected ad account uses it.

2. Remove the Referly Atlas app from Facebook

1. On Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings.
2. Open Business integrations (for business logins) or Apps and websites.
3. Find Referly Atlas, select it, and choose Remove.
4. If Facebook offers it, tick the option to delete posts, photos, or other activity the app may have created. Referly Atlas does not create any.

Removing the app revokes Referly Atlas's access immediately. Any data Referly Atlas had already stored is deleted when you disconnect the account as described above, or when you ask us to delete it (see "Request deletion by email" below).

The same steps apply to Google Ads and TikTok connections: remove them from Ad center → Ad accounts, and revoke the app in your Google account's Security → Third-party apps with account access or in TikTok for Business.

If you run a store on Referly Atlas

Deleting a store deletes all of its Referly Atlas data: visitors, sessions, events, orders, customer records, reports, pixels and destinations, event filters, and the ad accounts connected to it.

1. In Referly Atlas, open the store's Store settings.
2. Choose Delete Atlas store and confirm.

Deleting a Referly Atlas store does not delete your affiliate program data in Referly. To delete your whole Referly account, request deletion by email.

If you shopped on a store that uses Referly Atlas

The store is in charge of the data collected when you visited or bought from it, and Referly processes it on the store's behalf. Ask the store to delete your data, or email us (below) with the store's name and the email address you used, and we will help the store respond.

If you use Referly for an affiliate or referral program

If you are an affiliate of a program, ask the program owner to delete your program data, or email us. To remove a connected YouTube channel or Google Analytics property, disconnect it from your affiliate profile and revoke Referly's access in your Google account's security settings.

Request deletion by email

Email support@referly.so from the email address on your Referly account (or the one you used with the store), with the subject Data deletion request. Tell us what you want deleted: your whole Referly account, a Referly Atlas store, a connected ad account, or your data as a shopper or affiliate.

• We confirm your request within 3 business days and may ask you to verify that you own the account or email address.
• We complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm by email. Residual copies in backups are deleted within 30 days of deletion from our active systems.
• We may keep records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices and tax records, for the period the law requires, and aggregated information that no longer identifies anyone.
